Trade talk with China did not yield any agreement today. Higher tariff had gone into effect past midnight. Market down, Intel down and Nvidia down as well. AMD went up significantly. This is a very nice dissociation from Intel/Nvidia. Perhaps it is finally sinking in that AMD is eating Intel’s lunch for the next few years, enough time to grow AMD’s market shares in all the segments?
By Nvidia’s ER next week, maybe it will also be obvious that AMD is taking Nvidia’s share in the datacenter GPU space as well.
